CDC6 Cell ELISA Kit is a cell-based ELISA Kit. Cells to be assayed should be seeded onto a clear flat bottom 96 well plate, using poly-L-lysine for non-adherent cells. Cells should be grown to 75-90% confluence and treated prior to carrying out the ELISA.

Introduction Cell Division Control Protein 6 Homolog (CDC6) is a cell cycle regulator found in eukaryotic cells. The protein has been predominantly studied in Saccharomyces cerevisiae – as such, in yeast the word “homolog” is missing from the protein’s name. CDC6 binds to the origin of replication in DNA during the G1 phase of the cell cycle, and is involved in checkpoints to prevent mitosis from initiating before the DNA has completed replication. Dysregulation of CDC6 occurs in some cancers.

Note This product is for research use only.

The range and sensitivity is subject to change. Please contact us for the latest product information. For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments.

Please note that our ELISA and CLIA kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein.
