Alpha Fetoprotein (AFP) Antibody (Capture Ab) Antibody is a Mouse Monoclonal antibody against Human Alpha-Fetoprotein (AFP). For a sandwich immunoassay, it is recommended to use abx019291 (this product) as the capture antibody and abx019292 as the detection antibody. Alpha Fetoprotein (AFP) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the AFP gene. The AFP gene is located on the q arm of chromosome 4 (4q25). Biological response evaluation by the measurement of serial AFP levels is a useful predictor of overall survival and intrahepatic remote recurrence after RFA. Therefore, an initial AFP response may aid in determining the need of closer follow-up as a therapeutic response indicator of RFA.
