Datasheet SDS
Mycoplasma Prevention Reagent are ready-to-use concentrated stock solutions composed of three mycoplasma antibiotics, including macrolide, fluoroquinolone and tetracycline antibiotics, which can effectively interfere with DNA replication and protein expression of mycoplasma. This product can effectively prevent mycoplasma contamination during cell culture process, and also has a good effect on the prevention of common gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. In the daily cell culture, it can be used as the substitute of common penicillin and streptomycin antibiotics. It has the advantage of low active working concentration and low cytotoxicity.
  • Prevent mycoplasma contamination effectively.
  • Active at low working concentration and low cytotoxicity, suitable for a wide range of cell types.
  • An alternative with wide range of effects to the prevention of common gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.

  • It is recommended to add this product to the fresh culture medium.
  • To reduce the number of passages for rapidly proliferating cells, it is recommended to reduce cell density or reduce serum concentration in the medium.
  • Mycoplasma Prevention Reagent has been tested in a variety of cell lines, including HepG2, HEK-293T, HEK-293, HeLa, N2a, A549, MCF-7, CHO, K562, NIH/3T3, Sp2/0, BHK-21, VERO, U937, and SY5Y.
