Abbexa visits Lab Innovations

On 1st November 2023, Abbexa were delighted to visit Lab Innovations. The event held at the NEC, Birmingham brought together over 4,000 laboratory professionals and almost 200 suppliers and manufacturers. During the two-day show, the entire laboratory industry was encouraged to share their latest developments in equipment and processes as well as learn new ways to future-proof their lab. There were networking opportunities, a conference, and an awards ceremony within the event.
Sabrina Preston and James Rainey of Abbexa, attended the show. Having met with various companies to potentially collaborate with in the future, they also encountered many things to consider and got plenty of ideas.
Highlights of the show included Sabrina coming second place on Network Scientific Recruitment’s Whack a Mole game and winning some prizes on spin the wheel at the IKA and Shimadzu stands. At the end of the day, there was a drinks reception, including a saxophone player to listen to and enjoy.
