Abbexa commits to Net Zero Roadmap

The Net Zero Roadmap is an initiative brought in by the Peterborough Environment City Trust (PECT) to embed sustainability strategies into organisations’ operations and foment commitment to long-term change. Abbexa is pleased to say that it has achieved the badge, completing the Green Business Impact Programme.
The Green Impact Programme is open to small to medium enterprises across Cambridgeshire, they have a team of sustainability experts who work with companies to measure their current environmental impact and then help them prioritise their activities to reduce their carbon footprint.
In order to achieve this, Abbexa had to provide a 5-year decarbonisation plan for the organisation, as well as establish key strategies and activity to reduce their carbon footprint. From using recyclable packaging for products and investing in solar panels, Abbexa is contributing to a more sustainable future.
A number of countries have announced pledges to achieve net zero emissions over the coming decades. The requirement is to bring global energy-related carbon dioxide emissions to net zero by 2050. Abbexa is supporting this in any way they can by inviting customers, distributors and suppliers to explore available actions to support a net zero future.
