RPMI 1640 (Powder)

Roswell Park Memorial Institute (RPMI) 1640 Medium is widely used in the culture of many cell types, including lymphocytes, carcinomas and suspension cells. It contains various amino acids and vitamins essential for cell growth, though does not contain proteins, lipids or growth factors. This product should be used with serum (or equivalent) supplementation.

The 1 × 10 L size is provided as 1 bottle containing lyophilized powder for 10 L of 1X RPMI 1640. The 1 × 50 L size is provided as 1 bottle containing lyophilized powder for 50 L of 1X RPMI 1640.
