A83-01

A83-01 is a small molecule which can act as an ALK inhibitor. It is provided as a pale yellow powder.

A83-01 is a potent and selective ALK4, 5 and 7 inhibitor with an IC 50 of 45 nM, 12 nM and 7.5 nM respectively. It prevents phosphorylation of SMAD2/3 and growth inhibition induced by TGF-Beta2 and inhibits differentiation of rat induced pluripotent stem cells and can increase clonal expansion efficiency. Together with AMI-5, A83-01 it can enable OCT4-induced reprogramming of Mouse embryonic fibroblasts.
