In the liver, it is converted to Aflatoxin B1-8,9-epoxide, which is highly reactive and forms conjugates with DNA, RNA, thiols and proteins. It's reactive metabolites drive oxidative stress, inflammation and apoptosis. WARNING: This product is highly toxic. Wear appropriate PPE when using and avoid contact with skin, mouth and eyes. Do not ingest or inhale this product.
