Datasheet SDS
Epithelial Cell Adhesion Molecule (EPCAM) antibody (APC) is a Rat monoclonal antibody against Epithelial Cell Adhesion Molecule (EPCAM). APC is designed to be excited by the red (627-640 nm) laser and detected using an optical filter centered near 660 nm (such as a 660/20 nm bandpass filter).

EPCAM (CD326) mediates calcium-independent homophilic cell to cell adhesion and also functions as a growth factor receptor (involved in maintaining cells in position during proliferation). Expression of EPCAM seems to correlate inversely with the level of E-Cadherin (CD324) and is also important for tumor biology.
