Datasheet SDS
Calponin-1 (CNN1) Antibody is a Mouse monocloanl against Calponin-1 (CNN1).

Calponin-1 (CNN1) is a thin filament-associated protein that is involved in the regulation and modulation of smooth muscle contraction. It is capable of binding to actin, calmodulin, troponin C and tropomyosin. The interaction of calponin with actin inhibits the actomyosin Mg-ATPase activity. CNN1 is specifically expressed in differentiated mature smooth muscle cells and is up-regulated in smooth muscle tissues during postnatal development with a higher content in the phasic smooth muscle of the digestive tract.
