FK-506, also known as Fujimycin or Tacrolimus, is a small molecule which can act as a FKBP inhibitor. It is provided as a white powder.
It is a macrolide that prevents the dephosphorylation of NF-AT, and reduces peptidyl-prolyl isomerase activity by binding to FKBP12, creating a new complex that interacts with and inhibits calcineurin.
This product acts on the following target types: Immunophilin, Phosphatase, Antibiotic.
