GADD153 Cell ELISA Kit is a cell-based ELISA Kit. Cells to be assayed should be seeded onto a clear flat bottom 96 well plate, using poly-L-lysine for non-adherent cells. Cells should be grown to 75-90% confluence and treated prior to carrying out the ELISA.

Introduction GADD153 (also know as DNA Damage Inducible Transcript 3, DDIT3, and C/EBP homologous protein, CHOP) is a transcription factor that induces the production of various pro-apoptotic proteins and cytokines, while repressing some anti-apoptotic proteins. DDIT3 is upregulated during endoplasmic reticulum stress, and is frequently used as a biomarker of this process. Mice deficient in DDIT3 were less likely to generate an inflammatory response in the lungs when administered LPS.

Note This product is for research use only.

The range and sensitivity is subject to change. Please contact us for the latest product information. For accurate results, sample concentrations must be diluted to mid-range of the kit. If you require a specific range, please contact us in advance or write your request in your order comments.

Please note that our ELISA and CLIA kits are optimised for detection of native samples, rather than recombinant proteins. We are unable to guarantee detection of recombinant proteins, as they may have different sequences or tertiary structures to the native protein.
