Contagious Caprine Pleuropneumonia ELISA Kit is an ELISA kit against Contagious Caprine Pleuropneumonia.

Introduction Contagious pleuropneumonia is a highly fatal disease that occurs in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia and is characterised by the inflammation of the lungs and pleura, pleurisy being the inflammation of the pleura alone. The disease affects cattle and sheep, and is caused by the bacterium Mycoplasma mycoides. Outbreaks have recently been reported in sheep and captive wildlife, including gazelles and small ruminants. Fever, thirst, loss of appetite, and difficult breathing are signs of the disease.

Stability The stability of the kit is determined by the rate of activity loss. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage conditions. To minimize performance fluctuations, operation procedures and lab conditions should be strictly controlled.
