Disialoganglioside GD2 is a small molecule purified from Human Brain tissue. This product is prepared from Human GD1b ganglioside by enzymatic disintegration of the terminal galactose. Disialoganglioside GD2 is also known as a specific cancer ganglioside. Antibodies against GD2 inhibit cell attachment to various extracellular matrix proteins such as collagen, vitronectin, laminin and fibronectin.
