McCoy's 5A medium is a nutrient-rich, versatile basal medium used for supporting the growth of primary cells, established cell lines (like HCT-116, HeLa), and supporting virus production. It is commonly used for mammalian cell culture, especially in oncology and cytogenetics studies, due to its ability to support rapidly dividing cells.

The formulation of this product does not contain L-Alanyl-L-Glutamine, Phenol Red or HEPES.
