McCoy's 5A medium is widely used in the culture of many established cell lines, primary mammalian cells, and cells derived from diopsy tissues. Compared to other media, McCoy's 5A contains reduced glutathione, bacterial peptone and a high concentration of glucose. The formulation of this product does not contain HEPES, Sodium Pyruvate.
