Microcystin LR is a small molecule isolated from Microcystis aeruginosa (a freshwater cyanobacteria) which can act as a Protein phosphatase PP1 and PP2A inhibitor with an IC50 of 1.7 nM and 0.04 nM respectively. It is not taken up by cells, apart from hepatocytes which use an organic anion transporter. It is provided as an off-white lyophilized solid. This product acts on the following target types: Kinase.
