Mouse IgG1 Isotype Control is a negative control for measuring non-specific binding of Mouse IgG1 antibodies. This product contains no preservatives. This antibody is generated from spleen cells from immunized BALB/c mice, which were fused with cells of the NS1 mouse myeloma cell line. This antibody is not suitable as a negative control in Human tissues.

| Specificity | Suitable for use as a negative control to assess non-specific binding of Mouse IgG1 antibodies to target cells. Tested and found to be negative on the following Rat cell types, peripheral blood leucocytes, thymocytes, splenocytes and macrophages. This antibody recognizes the Human CD45RA antigen, and therefore Human leucocytes may be used as a positive control for this product. This antibody is not suitable as a negative control in Human tissues. |
