Paperless FAQ
Paperless FAQ
What does going paperless mean?
Choosing a paperless order means that we won't include a printed version of the product manual/datasheet with your order. You can now access the product manual/datasheet by scanning the QR code provided on the box. Paperless will not apply to shipping documents, these will still be printed as normal.
How do I get a paperless order?
When placing your order via the website, select ‘Go Paperless’ at checkout.
When placing your order by phone or email, let our team know that you would like to go paperless. Please specify if this is for the individual instance or for all future orders.
Updating your preferences
- Log in to your account
- Go to My Account and Account Information
- Tick the box that says Go Paperless
- Select ‘Continue’ to save your preference
This preference will then be applied to all future orders.
How do I keep paper orders?
This is an opt-in service. If you wish to keep receiving paper manuals/datasheets, you do not need to change anything.
If you change your mind, follow the steps for 'How do I get a paperless order?'.
What do I do if I have lost or cannot scan the QR Code?
Product documents specific to your item can be accessed by filling out our Paperless Document Form page with the Model/Catalogue Number of your item and the Item ID.
The Model/Catalogue number is "abx" followed by a 6 digit number.
The Item ID is a 5 digit number found on the QR code label. For ELISA/CLIA kits, use the first 5 digits of the 8 digit number provided. Examples of these are found below.
