Phosphatase Inhibitor Cocktail I

During tissue and cells lysis, a large number of endogenous proteins are released, including phosphatases. Phosphatases catalyse dephosphorylation of phosphorylated proteins. This product contains 3 independent protein phosphatase inhibitors, each of which can specifically inhibit the activity of one or several protein phosphatases. This product inhibits the activity of almost all main protein phosphatases, including protein serine / threonine phosphatases (PP1, PP2A, PP2B, PP2C), protein tyrosine phosphatases (PTPs), alkaline phosphatase, acid phosphatase etc. This product can be added to tissues and cell lysis products to maintain the phosphorylated state of any phosphorylated proteins present. It can be used to detect phosphorylated proteins, protein kinase activity, etc in Western Blot and Co-Immunoprecipitation. This product is provided as a 100X concentrated solution.
