Phenylmethylsulfonyl Fluoride (PMSF)

Phenylmethylsulfonyl fluoride (PMSF) is a biochemical reagent for common use. It can be used for irreversible inhibition of serine proteases, for example trypsase, chymotrypsin, callicrein, subtilisin and thrombin, and also for inhibiting homocysteine protease-papain. This product is supplied as two 10 ml tubes: one tube containing PMSF in crystalline form, and one tube containing a buffer solution which can be used to prepare a 100 mM PMSF solution.
