RPMI-1640 Medium with MOPS. Roswell Park Memorial Institute (RPMI) 1640 Medium is widely used in the culture of many cell types, including lymphocytes, carcinomas and suspension cells. MOPS (3-(N-morpholino)propanesulfonic acid) is a zwitterionic biological buffering agent used to maintain a stable pH in chemical and biological solutions. The formulation of this product does not contain HEPES. Osmolality: 425-580 mOsm/kg.
