Datasheet SDS
Serratia Marcescens Endonuclease is a recombinant enzyme expressed in E. coli.

Target Endonuclease
Origin Bacteria
Expression Recombinant
Tested Applications SDS-PAGE
Host E. coli
Recommended dilutions Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Form Liquid
Purity > 99% (SDS-PAGE)
Purification Purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Storage Store at 4 °C if the entire vial will be used within 4 weeks. Store at -20 °C for long-term storage. For long-term storage, it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Molecular Weight 30 kDa
Buffer 50 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, containing 20 mM NaCl, 2 mM MgCl2 and 50% glycerol.
Biological Activity 1 Unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that causes a ΔA260 of 1 in 30 min, which corresponds to complete digestion of 37 µg DNA. Standard reaction conditions are 1 mg/ml sonicated DNA substrate in 50 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 0.1 mg/ml BSA, 1 mM MgCl2, incubated at 37 °C.
Specificity Unspecific (DNA, RNA) attacks all nucleic acids (single strand, double strand, circular, supercoiled) with no apparent sequence preference. Final reaction product: 5'-mono-phosphate terminated oligonucleotides (3-5 bases). Protease Activity: Not detectable.
Availability Shipped within 5-10 working days.
