Streptavidin (HRP) is an enzyme conjugated to HRP. Streptavidin is protein with similar biological characterisitics to avidin. It has high affinity for biotin, making it a suitable choice for use in applications such as ELISA, WB and IHC.

| Directions for use | Samples containing endogenous biotin such as milk and egg white may cause interference. It is recommended to use BSA or gelatin as a blocking component rather than milk or milk powder. Use of ovalbumin (OVA) should also be avoided. |
