Universal Plasmid MaxiPrep Kit

Universal Plasmid MaxiPrep Kit uses a modified lysis system to lyse E. coli cells to efficiently release plasmid DNA, followed by the binding of the DNA onto a silica membrane spin column. Lysis and neutralization of 100-500 ml E. coli liquid cultured in LB medium can be completed in a single centrifuge tube in less than 50 ml. A color change indicates when lysis and neutralization are complete. The resulting purified DNA can be used in downstream applications such as restriction enzyme digestion, ligation, transformation, sequencing, and transfection.
