Xanthine Oxidase is an enzyme isolated from Arthrobacter sp. Xanthine oxidase is a form of xanthine oxidoreductase. It catalyzes the oxidation of hypoxanthine to xanthine and can further catalyze the oxidation of xanthine to uric acid.
